Wunnerful, Wunnerful, Wunnerful

Lawrence Welk would be sooooo jealous. Oh wait, I'm guessing that most of my readership has no clue who Lawrence Welk is. And if you don't know who Lawrence Welk is, you probably really don't get the title to this post. Yikes. I suppose a little background is necessary.

Lawrence Welk is this dude.
He had a show in the 60's and 70's I believe. It was a variety show with singing, dancing, etc. He also pronounced "wonderful" as "wunnerful". Yeah, I wasn't born until 1983, so I should have no clue who this man is. But, as a little girl I would watch reruns on PBS with my Papaw. I LOVED IT. Which confirms what my husband thinks, I'm a very old person at heart. Ha! Lawrence Welk had a penchant for bubbles. They would come out dancing and the bubble machine would just be cranking out those bubbles! Here is why old Lawrence would be jealous:


Yes, that is my son, completely covered in bubbles. The more I look at these pictures, I'm pretty sure it is less like Lawrence Welk, and more like a night at Club La Vela. Not that I know anything about that, ahem.

Our friends, that just happen to live down the street, own a company that rents out these machines. Michael got a new machine and wanted to test it out.
